The Jam Fruit Tree Publications is now embarking on an exciting and meaningful project: The Jam Fruit Tree Anthology for Best Poetry and The Jam Fruit Tree Anthology for Best Short Stories. The Sunday Observer, Muse magazine would be collaborating with us on this initiative as well. This project aims to give voice and opportunity to both seasoned and aspiring writers to get their work featured in print, celebrated and noticed. These two collections will be published as physical books and made available for retail, with each submission requiring a nominal fee of 1,000 Rupees. We will be selecting the top 50 short stories and 100 poems from submissions through a qualified judge panel to be featured in these two separate anthologies.

What sets this initiative apart is The Jam Fruit Tree Publications' commitment to providing a platform for writers from diverse backgrounds – whether they are already established in the literary world or have yet to see their work in print. By offering this opportunity, we hope to contribute to the literary community, empowering voices that often go unheard while fostering a wider appreciation for storytelling and English literature in Sri Lanka.

Given the increasing need to promote Sri Lankan literature and creative writing, we are confident that donors will be generous enough to help us achieve our target of 900,000 LKR for "The Jam Fruit Tree Anthologies for Best Poetry and Best Short Stories." The funds that we will be receiving will be directed towards the publication of the anthology and its launch.
