Come give the gift of mobility to a deserving child . In most cases it's a wheelchair that's holding a child from getting about from the bedroom to the living room , to the garden to hear the birds sing and to a classroom to become artist and scientist they deserve to become .

We are a group of cyclists and well wishers who believe in the gift of mobility . Each year we ride around Sri Lanka to raise awareness on Children With Cerebral Palsy and to raise funds for wheelchairs . The Wheels for Wheels Foundation was set up in 2014 to ensure that the estimated 40,000 children in Sri Lanka with Cerebral Palsy have access to proper wheelchair facilities. It is estimated that 10,000 children out of the 40,000 are in need of a wheelchair.

This Wheelchair is special, as it need to support the motor-ability challenge a child with cerebral palsy has.

This is an ambitious and daunting target but Wheels for Wheels strongly believes helping alleviate even some of the pain and suffering young cerebral palsy sufferers endure every day is worth all the effort . So far we have made great progress , thanks to doners like you .

Total number of wheelchairs received - 2700

Total distributed (to date) - 2457 (2262 Pediatric, 95 adult CP, 100 adult wheelchairs). we have held over 45 diagnosis camps island wide

Wheels For Wheel each years coupled with Partners and Sponsors organizes Around the Pearl, which is a challenging 10 day cycling ride around Sri Lank spanning 1400km with the primary objective of creating awareness about CP and raising funds for the purchase of wheelchairs. To date funds for 2700 wheelchairs have been raised and 2450 wheelchairs donated across Sri Lanka.
